London - Bethlehem - Palestine

This work was made in collaboration with William Parry who is a photo-journalist. Working with a community in Bethlehem ghetto he photographed messages from Palestinian children to the people of London painted on the separation wall together with iconic graphic images. During the week leading up to Christmas Beverley Carpenter and William Parry projected these images onto chosen landmark London buildings. These included war monuments at Marbel Arch, Hyde Park Corner, the Royal Courts of Justice, St Paul's Cathedral, The National Gallery, The National Theatre, the Houses of Parlaiment, Oxford Street and the BBC.
